SUMMARY:Achieving the European Green Deal through nature-based solutions
DESCRIPTION:Wie i2connect Berater und lokale Akteure in der Praxis in innovative Ansätze in der Land- und Forstwirtschaft einbinden will? Welche Vorteile und Barrieren werden erlebt und welche Wirkung erzeugt? Was braucht es für eine nachhaltige Fortsetzung? All of these and more questions will be covered in the i2connect presentation at the upcoming annual event of NetworkNature.  \nNature-based solutions\, in Europe and beyond\, are an integral part of restoration efforts and represent the building blocks for a sustainable future\, including in the field of health\,  agriculture\, Klimawandel und mehr. Joint action and local\, regionale und internationale Zusammenarbeit sind entscheidend, um die Wirkung und Verbreitung naturbasierter Lösungen zu maximieren. The recognition of their potential to address societal challenges has translated into an increasingly prominent role of nature-based solutions in the EU policy landscape\, mit dem europäischen Grünen Deal eine Gelegenheit bieten, ihre Umsetzung zu mobilisieren und die Finanzierung zu erhöhen. Die Veranstaltung wird die Vision und den Mehrwert von Network Nature beim Erreichen dieser Ziele demonstrieren. \nWith the objective of creating a space for dialogue for the nature-based solutions community and to expand the community to establish partnerships with new and impactful actors\, the event will gather stakeholders from all target groups\, including policymakers\, scientific experts\, civil society as well as investors and financing institutions\, infrastructure planners and builders\, Landbesitzer und Verwalter natürlicher Ressourcen. \nThe event will be structured in three parts: ein Eröffnungsplenum (10am – 12pm CET); fünf parallele Sitzungen (2pm – 4pm CET); ein abschließendes Plenum (4.15pm – 5.50pm). \nThe agenda for the day is provided below.
