DESCRIPTION:\nCREA and FIRAB are pleased to invite you to a cross visit in Italy organized on October 12th -13th\, 2023 in Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia Regions. \nThe cross-visit will be focused on experiences related to organic farming. Sarà una grande opportunità per mettere in pratica gli strumenti di co-creazione e allargare la rete con consulenti da tutta Europa. The participants will be visiting and meeting with AVEPROBI and AIAB Friuli Venezia Giulia. \n\n\nDAY 1: 12th October – Vicenza – Veneto Region \nAVEPROBI is a regional association of organic producers and processors\, which for more than a decade has devoted part of its activities to the on-farm conservation of local agrobiodiversity\, catalyzing energies\, e iniziative tra gruppi che operano sulla biodiversità coltivata in Veneto. \nA Community Seed Bank (CSB) has been set up to promote the development of innovative cereal-based value chains\, sia a livello del seme che del prodotto alimentare finale. La sua governance e il suo modello di business si basano su approcci partecipativi al fine di raggiungere l'efficacia operativa e il consenso delle parti interessate. \nLocal farmers’ networks are called to reproduce the seeds\, favorire e monitorare la loro evoluzione e adattamento nonché facilitarne la condivisione. \nThe Community Seed Bank is a novelty in the Veneto territory and the adaptation to the regional circumstances requires the identification of durable enabling conditions: collegare agricoltori e consumatori (e processori dedicati nel mezzo) intorno alla biodiversità coltivata biologicamente rende la conservazione dinamica dei semi del patrimonio parte di una dinamica sociale più ampia. \nDAY 2 : 13th October – Udine – Friuli Venezia Giulia (FVG) Region \nAIAB FVG is the regional branch of the Italian Association for Organic Farming (AIAB)\, in rappresentanza di agricoltori e consulenti biologici, nonché dei consumatori. AIAB FVG aims at consolidating and promoting the organic farming method\, coinvolgendo tutti gli stakeholder e collaborando con le istituzioni regionali. \nIn 2023 AIAB FVG è stata incaricata dall'Amministrazione Regionale di offrire consulenza tecnica gratuita non continuativa al biologico (o il passaggio al biologico) aziende agricole situate nella regione. The service is carried out by means of one or more visits to the farm\, della durata massima di quattro ore e incentrati su argomenti specifici che si differenziano a seconda dell'orientamento colturale o produttivo aziendale. At the end of each visit\, l'azienda deve semplicemente controfirmare una dichiarazione attestante l'intervento del tecnico incaricato. The crops covered by the organic advisory and technical assistance service are arable crops\, horticulture\, permanent fruit crops\, e viticoltura. \n\n\nArrival should be planned for 11th October 2023 e la partenza può essere pianificata a partire da 18:30 (per i partecipanti che viaggiano in treno/auto) e 20.30 (per i partecipanti che viaggiano in aereo) on 13th October 2023. \nNearby airports:  \n\nTreviso airport; \nVenice airport (1 ora di treno);\nVerona airport (2\,5 ore di treno).\n\nRegistration is open until the 7th of September.
