DESCRIPTION:The i2connect project is all about encouraging interactive innovation processes that mobilize diverse actors such as farmers/foresters\, advisors\, researchers\, businesses\, NGOs etc.\, who put together their knowledge\, skills and experience\, to address a joint problem to which they seek a solution. Farmers\, practitioners or end-users as experts share power and responsibility and actively contribute to influence the process thereby resulting in joint ownership of the outcome. \nWhy Interactive Innovation? \nThe rationale behind this is simple: de traditionele manier om de prestaties van boeren te verbeteren / boswachters door experts te vragen / advisors to analyse the situation\, diagnose the problem and come up with the solution is no longer sufficient in many situations. The complexity of many problems in agriculture and forestry requests for a bottom-up multi-stakeholder innovation approach.  \nWhat is an i2connect Excellence Class? \nThe Excellence Class is a master class designed for managers in the field of agricultural advice and innovation. Inspiratie uit het i2connect-project en bevindingen en geleerde lessen over interactieve innovatie zullen worden aangevuld met ervaringen en ideeën van deelnemers. Resulting in a shared vision on how to create a good biotope\, waarin de organisatie en haar adviseurs optimaal zijn toegerust voor het begeleiden van interactieve innovatieprocessen. DESCRIPTION:\nCREA and FIRAB are pleased to invite you to a cross visit in Italy organized on October 12th -13th\, 2023 In Veneto en Friuli Venezia Giulia -regio's. \nThe cross-visit will be focused on experiences related to organic farming. The participants will be visiting and meeting with AVEPROBI and AIAB Friuli Venezia Giulia. \n\n\nDAY 1: 12th October – Vicenza – Veneto Region \nAVEPROBI is a regional association of organic producers and processors\, which for more than a decade has devoted part of its activities to the on-farm conservation of local agrobiodiversity\, catalyzing energies\, en initiatieven tussen groepen die actief zijn op gecultiveerde biodiversiteit in Veneto. \nA Community Seed Bank (CSB) has been set up to promote the development of innovative cereal-based value chains\, Zowel op het zaad als op het uiteindelijke niveau van voedselproducten. Het bestuur en het bedrijfsmodel zijn gebaseerd op participatieve benaderingen om operationele effectiviteit en consensus van belanghebbenden te bereiken. \nLocal farmers’ networks are called to reproduce the seeds\, om hun evolutie en aanpassing te bevorderen en te volgen, evenals om hun delen te vergemakkelijken. \nThe Community Seed Bank is a novelty in the Veneto territory and the adaptation to the regional circumstances requires the identification of durable enabling conditions: Boeren en consumenten verbinden (en toegewijde processors daartussenin) rond organisch gecultiveerde biodiversiteit maakt de dynamische behoud van erfgoedzaden deel uit van een grotere sociale dynamiek. \nDAY 2 : 13th October – Udine – Friuli Venezia Giulia (FVG) Region \nAIAB FVG is the regional branch of the Italian Association for Organic Farming (Aiab)\, Vertegenwoordiger van biologische boeren en adviseurs en consumenten. AIAB FVG aims at consolidating and promoting the organic farming method\, waarbij alle belanghebbenden betrokken zijn en samenwerken met regionale instellingen. \nIn 2023 AIAB FVG heeft door de regionale administratie de opdracht gegeven om gratis niet-continu technisch advies aan organisch te bieden (of overstappen naar organisch) boerderijen in de regio. The service is carried out by means of one or more visits to the farm\, Maximaal vier uur duren en zich concentreren op specifieke onderwerpen die verschillen, afhankelijk van het gewas- of boerderijproductie -oriëntatie. At the end of each visit\, het landbouwbedrijf hoeft alleen maar een verklaring mede te ondertekenen waarin de tussenkomst van de aangestelde technicus wordt vermeld. The crops covered by the organic advisory and technical assistance service are arable crops\, horticulture\, permanent fruit crops\, en wijnbouw. \n\n\nArrival should be planned for 11th October 2023 en vertrek kan worden gepland om vanaf te starten 18:30 (voor deelnemers die per trein/auto reizen) en 20.30 (voor deelnemers die met het vliegtuig reizen) on 13th October 2023. \nNearby airports:  \n\nTreviso airport; \nVenice airport (1 uur met de trein);\nVerona airport (2\,5 uur met de trein).\n\nRegistration is open until the 7th of September.
