The goal is to obtain accurate results from the plant experiments on the usability of lupins in pig feeds designed for different production groups, as well as their effects on production results, becouse the high price of pig feeds (Covid, high inflation in agriculture).

Dans la première étape, the first annual crop production experiments of lupin were started in three different agro-ecological districts, one of which was VIRAGZO OKO Ltd. in Nyalka.
Based on the preliminary test results, of the three locations, a favourable rate of development was observed in the Nograd region, while a smaller vegetative mass was observed in the experiment in Nyalka.

nvestigation and economics of sweet lupins as an alternative protein source in pig production in different growing regions.The most favourable development was observed in the third investigated region, Szabolcs, regarding the soil. As a result of the research so far, it can be stated that the yield of lupin is significantly determined by the agro-ecological conditions, and the quality of the soil is the most decisive factor during vegetative development.
Quels sont les facteurs de succès pour résoudre le problème?
The open minded farmers, good relationship between farmers and advosors, et chercheurs. The essence of the project is that crop farms in three different parts of Hungary undertake to grow sweet lupins for two years, which will be used for feeding in two pig farms.

Leçons apprises
The grassroots demand (from farmers) is an answer to a real problem. A good relationship between the consultant and the other actors in the project is very important as regional and national level as well.
