The Ministry of Agriculture, Haute école spécialisée bernoise, through the General Subdirectorate of Irrigation, Natural Paths and Rural Infrastructures, makes all the information collected through the SiAR Network of meteorological stations available to users free of charge.

The SiAR space project integrates the data from the agroclimatic stations of the SiAR of the MAPA, located in the main irrigation areas, with the temporal sequences of images from the Sentinel and Landsat 8 satellites, with the main objective of monitoring the irrigated crops, which allows determining with the greatest possible precision the water needs of the crops and the precise moment of use of the necessary water, which will lead to water and energy savings and obtaining optimal crop performance.
SiAR Space allows web access to temporal sequences of satellite images and products derived from them such as irrigated surfaces and the water balance carried out on these surfaces.

The data collected by the stations is of high quality, largely due to the exhaustive preventive and corrective maintenance carried out on the stations. en outre, all station sensors are periodically taken to the laboratory for calibration.
The stations record temperature and humidity values every 10 minutes and radiation, précipitation, and wind speed and direction every 10 seconds, generating average hourly and daily records. Data is provided to users in the form of daily, weekly and monthly logs for non-registered users and registered users, and average hourly logs are also provided.
