According to the law, agricultural consultancy in Hungary only can be performed by individual consultants and consultancy organizations included in the list of consultants.
The register, trainings and evaluation are carried out by NAK as a Farm Advisory National Consulting Center. NAK has developed and is continuously developing the training methodology since 2016.
On the register, the first compulsory training is the basic training (acquisition of basic knowledge), which is compulsory for all consultants. Topics of the basic training: the methodology and institutional system of professional counseling and the knowledge of the related IT systems. From 2019: basics of digital technology, its application in agriculture.
An e-learning system (www.kepzes.nak.hu) has been developed for the training. This system provides the learner with the opportunity for time flexibility.
Applications for trainings and exams are made through the e-learning interface. To complete the topics, the study materials can also be downloaded here. Examination and training for satisfaction measurement are also implemented through the interface. Between 2016 ir 2019, 854 consultants took basic examinations using the system. www.kepzes.nak.hu
