Animal tuberculosis is one of the most important disease for livestock and wildlife in Spain. Proposed measures try to apply innovation to improve results to control it. The project has got farmers, hunters and scientist work together with the same objectives.

We had developed biosecurity audit protocols adappted to each situation, including innovative field diagnosis systems. After that, we’ve improved biosecurity measures to reduce tb prevalence

Biosecurity audit protocols developed and field diagnosis systems applied. Štīrijas Lauksaimniecības kamera, the integral vision between wildlife and extensive cattle to improve biosecurity measures is really innovative
Kādi ir veiksmes faktori problēmas risināšanā?
We think the most important aspect in this project has been to get farmers and hunters work together appliing measures indicate by scientits with the collaboration of public administrations.
Gūtās mācības
We’ve worked in ten extensive cattle farms and in ten hunter areas and not always it’s been easy to manage all the territory. No otras puses, the best of the project has been work together with all sectors afected by the problem. Moreover we’ve worked a lot in important divulgation activities
