Koji je izazov/problem bio riješen?

Organski materijali (kao što su grozdne tropine, zeleni otpad, slame, biomasa) pretvara se u regionalnu, visokokvalitetno gnojivo optimiziranjem postupka kompostiranja. Kompost visoke kvalitete može pomoći smanjiti potrebu za mineralnim dušičnim i fosfatnim gnojivima i pesticidima. Korištenje procesa kompostiranja u poljoprivredi i korištenje kompostnih proizvoda jedan su od načina povećanja održivosti i suprotstavljanja klimatskim promjenama. Demonstracijske vitrine i plohe koriste se za tečajeve i radionice kompostiranja.

Koji su čimbenici uspjeha u rješavanju problema?

• Cooperation between winegrowers and contractors are one way to lower the cost for all partners.

• Demonstrating in practice how a quality orientated composting process works to close the knowledge gaps.

• Involvement of all partners in the process (vinogradari, poljoprivrednici, zadrugarstvo, izvođači radova, ministarstva, okolnim općinama).

What were the main challenges during the innovation process?

• Composting is time-consuming and includes investments. Izazov je pronaći način da proces kompostiranja bude učinkovit.

• Administrative barriers witch which interfere on farm composting.

Kakvu ulogu ima savjetnik ili savjetodavna služba u praktičnom slučaju?

Knowledge awareness and exchange, Advisory, consultancy and backstopping aimed at solving complex problems, to be provided during the innovation process and based on demands of actors and the co-construction of solutions, Demand articulation, to allow actors to have access to new ideas, identify their needs, define their objectives and express clear demands to other actors, Networking facilitation and brokerage, to help organize or strengthen networks, improve the relationships between key actors and to align services in order to be able to complement each other, Capacity building, aimed at increasing innovation actors’ capacities in order to play their roles in the innovation process, Enhancing/supporting access to resources by facilitating access to inputs, facilities and funding, Facilitating access to new networks and actors
