The challenge addressed through the project entitled: “Maximizing the efficiency of olive groves using an innovative precision spraying system” was to apply precision spraying techniques in olive groves in order to achieve the best possible results for the spraying of trans-fertilizers and the best possible time for spraying.
Hoe heb je het probleem opgelost??
Precision spraying on the olive crop will be achieved by incorporating ultrasonic sensors into the sprayer attachment and utilizing weather forecasting data from DSS software.

De toepassing van innovatieve precisielandbouwmethoden is een belangrijk aspect in ons specifieke scenario. Gezien de betekenis van olijfbomen voor Griekenland, employing novel techniques to enhance production and minimise the cost of spraying solutions will be beneficial.
Wat zijn de succesfactoren bij het oplossen van het probleem??
The regional cooperation between the partners, the collection of weather forecasting data the crop period and the testing of the ultrasonic sensors.
