This video introduces the “Innovatiepoorten” project in Lithuania, dat zich richt op interactieve innovatie in de landbouw. The project aims to improve knowledge transfer in the agricultural sector by strengthening cooperation between research institutions, study centers and farmers. Key elements of the project include the establishment of the Innovation Gates Centre, the development of a methodology for inter-institutional cooperation and the creation of the Innovation Support Service (ISS). The ISS plays a crucial role in project management and ensures that the objectives are achieved. The project also enables the establishment of a network of pilot plants. To promote innovative technologies, a demonstration pavilion for precision agriculture has been set up and courses on precision agriculture are organized. The success of the project is partly due to the stable network of experimental farms, which enables the joint implementation of innovations. De “Innovatiepoorten” project is an example of best practice whose impact is likely to extend beyond Lithuania’s borders. Watch the full video below!
