How did you solve the problem?
Cooperation is the best tool we are using. The innovation team is incorporating new partners, depending on the new challenges we face: animal feed, nutritional profile, food, energy, …
What is innovative in your practical case?
We innovate in processes, in technology, in product, … Always from the interest of real farms, and adapting the next step to your specific needs
What are the success factors in solving the problem?
The success lies in the fact that they are innovations proposed from the farms, and theses are resolved in collaboration with the most appropriate partners in each case, with coodinating broker
Lessons learned
The role of coordination is essential, and it is better to be an independent agent (broker).
The proyect dinamitation is key to continue in the innovation process.
What role does the advisor or advisory service play with the practical case?
There are always two types of advisers: On the one hand, the technical advisers in the aspect that is being worked on, and the innovation agent, who coordinate and energize project.
Can your approach be transferred and/or adapted for other innovation challenges and regions?
Yes
Estimated transferability on a scale from 1 to 5
(where 1 is easy and 5 very difficult)
