What was the challenge/problem addressed?

The challenge is based on providing digitalization skills to advisors and professionals in the agri-food and forestry sector.

It is very important to solve the problem to reduce the lack of digital skills in rural areas.

How did you solve the problem?

Offering training and demonstration activities in digitalization with the participation of some Spanish universities. Vocational education and free of charges.

What is innovative in your practical case?

Provide training pills that last only 2 hours.

What are the success factors in solving the problem?

Offer high quality training and with the flexibility that online training provides.

Lessons learned

It is important to provide quality training focused on the real needs of advisors and professionals. 

We must work at different levels of difficulty: basic, intermediate and advanced.

Flexibility in training is essential.

And, this training must allow networking among students.

What role does the advisor or advisory service play with the practical case?

They are the end-user of the Digital Competence Center.
