What was the challenge/problem addressed?

FOREST EUROPE is organizing on 14 March 2024 webinar, “The roots of innovation – setting the course for innovation and sustainable growth in the forest sector.” This will be in the run-up to the International Day of Forests 2024, whose theme is ‘Forests and Innovation.’

This event is very important to involve foresters, advisors and researches in interactive innovation.

How did you solve the problem?

MAPA will be a speaker representing the General Subdirectorate of Innovation and Digitalisation.

Objectives of the webinar:

– Highlighting the innovation potential of the forest sector and the importance of innovation by providing visibility to existing innovative practices in the forest sector in the pan-European region.

– Exploring ways of addressing the topic at the policy level and how to engage policy makers so as to bridge the gap between industry and policy makers.

What is innovative in your practical case?

The agenda of the event, the speakers and the wat to interact with the audience using the platform called flat social.

What are the success factors in solving the problem?

The amount of attendees in the webinar.

Networking.
